Check Out Lady Gaga's Drag Look at the MTV VMAs

Lady Gaga opened the MTV Video Music Awards with a performance of "You And I" dressed in drag as her male character from the song's video. The transformation was so complete that it sounded strange hearing Gaga's voice coming from the very male character. Gaga's transformation was so complete that the drag look seemed to take fellow pop star Britney Spears offguard as the two met onstage later in the night. With her black wig, unwashed look and loose-fitting white shirt, Gaga had sort of a '60s greaser look reminiscent of Ralph Macchio in The Outsiders. Gaga went on to win the award for Best Video with a Message, remarking during her speech that her contemporaries' videos also had messages.
